A good reason to be in Atlanta in February would be the Mardi Gras Festival. If you’re into music festivals then Little Five Points should be your destination. The fest features Kingsized, Squirrel Heads, Totally Savage, Webster and Marching Abominable.

L5P in Atlanta is the intown epicenter for all things alternative. Front Page News, the host restaurant is just 2.5 miles (9 minutes) away from downtown Atlanta. The venue will be showcasing the outdoor music and food extravaganza right on the Front Page News parking lot. Come rain or hail the show will go on.

So get ready to grab the beads. Gates open at 2 p.m. and the festival will feature eclectic bands as also New Orleans food and beverages. Live music will be featuring Dash Rip Rock headlining the event at 8pm. The Kings of Swamp Punk Rock from New Orleans will rock away the hits.

Front Pages News in Little Five Points is the place to be on Saturday, February 9, for this Music & Food Festival. The mix of entertainment will also feature Cadillac Jones, Zydefunk with Charlie Wooten, and the Kevin Lewis Band. The New Orleans menu will have jambalaya, gumbo and crawfish along with SoCo Hurricanes drinks and Miller Lite, Peroni and Pilsner Urquell beer plus Mardi Gras beads and other Mardi Gras giveaways.
