Apart from the historic monuments and the political improtance that Delhi holds, this place also has a some of the best parks & gardens and presents a number of opportunities for outdoor sports and adventure sports enthusiasts. Some such places are mentioned as under:

Delhi Golf Coruse: There are probably very few golf courses which also serve as a hub for bird watching. The Delhi Golf Course which is spread in an area of 220 acres is also rich in flora and fauna and present excellent bird watching opportuinities especially during the winter months. 

Lodi Gardens: A park which also houses some of the architectural works belonging to the Sayyid and Lodhis of the Pathan dynasty. Covering an area of 90 acres it is one of the most visited places in Delhi.

Fun N Food Village: An amusement park which is also famous for its indoor snow park. Fun N Food Village is also a place where one can enjoy the tranquil surroundings amidst lush greenery and well-maintained landscape.

Badhkal Lake: Water sports like kayaking, boating, canoeing, can be enjoyed at this place which is located close to Delhi. This spot is also famous for bird watching during winter months.
